Theo's Renta-wreck finally came up big Sunday afternoon, with a monster 3 run blast after the Sox had trouble getting a runner to 3rd. The blast was followed up by a bunt of all things from David Ortiz and a 2 run blast by Manny Ramirez. Although Curt Schilling had a rough time in the 9th, the Sox came away with the 5-1 win and a split of the 4 game series.


Sox starter Jon Papelbon allowed five hits in 5.2 innings in his third major-league start. Papelbon has 3 ND in the starts but the Sox have won all 3 games.


Manny's D early and his O late proved to be the difference. The Sox are now 3-4 on the current 10 game road trip and now head in to Kansas City for 3...
