OJ Pay Day? No Way!

Scratch golfer O.J. Simpson made some news Sunday at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, California, when he unexpectedly showed up and tried to sell autographed pictures to collectors. Organizers for the event asked former football star and suspected murderer to leave the event. An exhibitor had reportedly invited Simpson, but he was never officially registered. Simpson was seen trying to sell glossy color photos for about $100 a pop, cash only. Security escorted him from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center without incident.
Simpson was acquitted of murder after the 1994 stabbing deaths of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. A civil jury in 1997 held Simpson liable for the killings and ordered him to pay the victims' survivors $33.5 million.
