A Pennsylvania man leads police on a wild chase after stealing two 12 packs of beer from a pizza joint...and not just any beer, but The Beast:

WILKES-BARRE – Police say a Larksville man burglarized a pizza shop early Wednesday morning then fled, striking police cruisers during a high-speed chase that ended with a physical confrontation with officers.

And police said it was all for two 12 packs of Milwaukee’s Best Ice beer.

A bruised and defeated-looking Alan Frank Kross held his head in his hands as he was arraigned hours after the chase by District Judge Martin Kane on felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass, aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, possessing instruments of crime, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing and eluding police and accidents involving damage to vehicles. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and four other summary driving citations.
