Patriots get a break, Duane Starks out for the year

The New England Patriots finally caught a break Thursday when the team announced that cornerback Duane Starks (above being burned by burned against the San Diego Chargers) is out for the rest of the year. Starks, who was picked up in the off season in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals, has been awful...Actually he hasn't been that good. The Patriots placed Starks on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Starks replaced Ty Law who left via free agency to the New Jersey Jets. The 5-foot-10, 174-pound Starks recorded 26 tackles and no interceptions.
