Bruins breakdown

You may have noticed that UB has not posted much on the Bruins lately. It is for the simple fact that they would all be the same..."The Bruins blew another game last night, boy do they suck, and the management doesn't care." Last night the Bruins were leading 3-1 with just over 3 1/2 minutes left in the third period and fans were forced to watch Philadelphia strike for two goals in the final 3:35 of regulation. The Flyers won the game when defenseman Joni Pitkanen was left all alone to score at 1:55 of sudden death, for the 4-3 win.

The Bruins are 7-5 with 5 OT losses totaling 19 points, 6 off the division lead...however they are 4-5 in the last nine games, with three losses coming in overtime and two in shootouts. The defense is a joke and it makes UB sick to see the impact being made around the league by free agents that the B's passed up on...

Jeremy Jacobs, who sits back in his Buffalo nest, had said for years that the Bruins couldn't compete in a spending war for talent and pushed for the lockout and lowered salaries...well what happens when they get it? Nothing...Jacobs continues to show no commitment to a Stanley Cup caliber product, in a town that still loves hockey...Jacobs has officially joined the list of people UB wants to hit with his car if he sees them walking down the street...here is the list in alphabetical order:
