KO'd in KC, Pats lose meaningless game

On the offensive side of the ball the Pats never really got it going. Trailing 26-3 in the 3rd Quarter, they finally got it together, but Tom Brady threw four picks on the day. While those balls were tipped, Brady was throwing high and was wild on other throws.
The Patriots now look to the last 5 games starting next week with the New Jersey Jets. The Pats are still on the fast track to the AFC East title, and barring a major collapse will make it 4 out of 5 years as Division Champions. That will leave them with the home Wild Card game. The biggest hopes for a Patriots fan now is that they can figure out some sort of consistency in the defense and get players like Corey Dillon healthy for the playoffs. By then UB has to hope the "O" is on a roll...Dick Vermeil, your thoughts...
"You guys are the greatest friends I could (sniff, sniff) ever hope for (inaudible crying sounds)..."
"That was the best play I've (sniff, sniff) ever called to start a drive (inaudible crying sounds)..."
"I forgot to tell my cat I loved him before I left this morning (inaudible crying sounds)..."
"I want to (sniff, sniff) dedicate this win (sniff, sniff) to my mailman Craig...(wipes away tears), who just retired after 12 years (sniff, sniff). I love you Craig! (Inaudible crying sounds)..."

i was going to chill on commenting to you about this game until i read the Vermeil stuff there UB. The Chiefs DOMINATED the patriots (little p on purpose) even WITHOUT Priest Holmes. even if the pelts i mean pats get into the playoffs they can count on being ousted first round. the run is over, and vermeil will be really crying at the end of the this season... as he holds the superbowl trophy
Hahaha, the Pats may not make it out of the 1st round this year, but KC still has to fight (look at the remaining schedule) just to make the playoffs...and Vermeil is a crying bitch...
