Patriots Week 12: Win is Chief concern

Well Thanksgiving is done, but your Uncle Buck still has plenty of leftovers and Sam Adams and are ready to see the Patriots take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in KC. The Pats come in at 6-4 and really need this win if they want any shot at the #2 seed. With the Denver win yesterday it is looking like a long shot that the Pats will get a bye.

The last time the Pats took on Kansas City was last season when they beat them 27-19 on Monday Night Football to improve to 9-1.

The Kansas City D will be looking to make a few plays against Tom Brady and Co. Sunday. They can't be too happy with the Denver win, and at 6-4 are also looking for a big win.

Corey Dillon, who had a big game last year against the Chiefs will again be out of the line up on Sunday. New England has won four of the last five games in the series. Amazingly, prior to last year's triumph at Arrowhead, the Patriots had not won a game in Kansas City in 40 years, dating back to when the Boston Patriots came away with a 31-24 win at Municipal Stadium in 1964. Is Bill Belichick the difference maker between these two teams? The Pats have not lost to the Chefs in the Belichick era, taking victories in 2000, 2002 and 2004.

"That's great, but who are the Chefs?" "Great googley-moggley!"

And one more thing, UB is tired of hearing about this home field advantage and how loud the KC fans are...give UB a break...KC has 2 teams and UB has never heard anyone say that the Royals fans were loud...

"Why this whole place sucks...that's right is sucks!"
