Shocking; Pats take whooping from Chargers

Not much to say about the Patriots 41-17 loss to the Chargers Sunday. It was the worst loss the Patriots have suffered since the 2000 season, maybe even before that. It broke the Pats 21-game home winning streak and left them at 2-2 with no relief in sight as they head into Atlanta to take on the Falcons this weekend. Your Uncle Buck says it was the worst loss in a while, even worse than the 31-0 drubbing by the Buffalo Bills in the 2003 opener, because it wasn't about turnovers or penalties. This loss was about bad play and poor tackling. The defense couldn't stop anyone and for the 2005 season are the worst in the AFC in points scored. Unacceptable. UB still says the Patriots will be fine if they can get to the bye week at 4-2, but they will have to improve quick to have a shot at that...
