Robocop...a History Teacher?

So I'm watching a special on the History Channel about the Roman Coliseum over the long weekend and who do I see as one of the experts on the subject but Robocop's Peter Weller. The special was a documentary on Roman engineering that included Weller, who now teaches at Syracuse University (I don't even know how you could possibly make that career leap) where he is apparently a noted historian and an expert on Rome.


My brother and I then spent the next hour arguing whether it was the same Peter Weller who portrayed the cyborg cop in the 1988 and 1990 flicks...the same cyborg cop that prevented a rape by shooting a guy in the balls...A little research proved that it is the same Peter Weller...
