Rays-Amaze, take season series from Yankoffs

They D-Rays did the unthinkable Tuesday night, taking the season series from the Yankoffs with their 10th win in 14 games! The Yankoffs gave Randy Johnson a 3-0 lead early but Tampa Bay got 2 in the 4th and 1 in the 7th to tie it up. An error by Second baseman Robinson Cano gave the Rays the lead for good in the 9th with the 4-3 win. Johnson gave up 3 ER in 6.1, including 7 hits in the no decision. I gotta believe that if the Yankoffs don't make the playoffs George will look back at the season loss to the D-Rays as reason to fire Joe Torre and hire Lou Piniella.

The loss of the season series to the D-Rays has to be the most surprising development since Hackensack Bulls pitcher Monty Brewster nearly went 3 innings as part of his "None of the Above" election campaign (your Uncle Buck should know, since he caught the game):

"I can get any team out for 3 innings"

Where does the manager get the balls to take Brewster out after giving up a few hits to the Yankoffs? If I'm paying millions to set up a 3 inning game I'm pitching the 3 innings...even if I turned into Kevin Brown from game 7 of the ALCS...

The Yankoff loss with the Red Sox win puts the Sox up...how many games? Hey Horsemen do you know how many games the Sox are up now?
