I Dream of Petagine
Sox bats clobbered Minnesota Twins pitcher Joe Mays Sunday for 8 runs in 5 to help with the lone win of the three game set. Roberto Petagine hit a three-run double in the fifth inning, clearing the bases, in the 11-7 win. (The big hit prompted a photo but Uncle Buck opted for a shot of Paris as Genie in his honor).
Ramirez's two-run home run off J.C. Romero (I guess I'm glad we didn't trade for this stiff) in the seventh inning gave us the cushion needed to hang on in the 9th.
I love Paris in the summer...
