Daily Creature Feature: Thriller

Just try and think back to 1983 okay? Remember "Thriller" coming out on MTV. This thing was huge. It was a 13 minute music video directed by John Landis who was coming off the success of the horror classic "An American Werewolf in London" and it was awesome. Michael Jackson was at the height of his popularity (UB still has the fold out "Thriller" album) and would actually turn into something of a monster not long after taking off the makeup. This thing helped get MTV off the ground and featured the chilling voice of horror classic Vincent Price as "The Rap" and the amazing effects of makeup artist Rick Baker, who had already made his mark in Star Wars, American Werewolf and Videodrome.

So try and put aside all the news about Michael Jackson of the past few years and sit back and enjoy "Thriller" all 13+ minutes:
