WGME's got some 'splainin' to do

The biggest no-no in broadcasting is that you don't show dead bodies during a news story. WGME, the CBS affiliate in Portland, Maine, broke that unwritten rule in a Tuesday night broadcast, showing the dead bodies in a murder-suicide. The video broadcast on their newscasts, and currently posted on the website (don't expect it to be on there long) shows the dead body of the accused gunman and his victim. Both shots are ass up, which is also unfortunate for the victim's friends and family. Check out the video here.
