Another Kazmir sweater

The Red Sox got hung up to dry with a strike out per inning care of that little left handed bastard Scott Kazmir and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays last night in a pathetic 3-0 loss.

"Is that...Kazmir?"

Kazmir threw a 2 hit complete game, walking only 2 and striking out 10 total. Sox captain Jason Varitek struck out 4 times while David Ortiz and Coco Crisp both wiffed twice each.

For some damn reason the Red Sox turn into the Orioles when they face left handed pitchers, and go up against another one in today in former farm hand Casey Fossum.

On the plus side David Wells joined the team in Tampa and threw before the game. The hopeful return of Boomer to the rotation helps with the news that Matt Clement may be done with a biceps injury.
